General Election on May 6th

8.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 6th Apr 2010

At last the Prime Minister has called the General Election - in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich our preparations are well advanced and we have shown that we are the only challengers to the Tories. I will update you regularly on this website as the campaign unfolds, I hope that you will be able to support my bid to become your next MP.

More than ever it is important to elect local people to Parliament, to represent the community and make the country a fairer place. The Liberal Democrats could make historic inroads at this election - I hope you will rise to the challenge.
